The Hoover Telios canister vacuum cleaner,
sidelined throughout the nineties by the attached-tools upright,
is in a good position to regain ground. With the Hoover®
Telios™ cleaner -- a feature-loaded, straight-suction,
compact canister with combination bare floor and carpet nozzle
-- Hoover steps up to the plate to help revitalize the category.
It’s a remarkable value at the expected retail range
of $99 - $129.
“Market research reveals that an increasing number
of households are embracing hard-surface floors, everything
from hardwood to tile to vinyl to marble – which lend
themselves to canister versatility,” said Annette Bravard,
vice president – marketing. “Canisters, such as
the Telios cleaner from Hoover can also be used on carpet
and rugs and can be converted with just the flip of a switch.
“We know there’s a die-hard constituency with
a real emotional connection to canisters. These people grew
up with one and won’t have anything but a canister in
their homes. We’re leveraging these insights in the
form of the new HooverTelios canister (S3332).”
The S3332 Telios canister’s lightweight, egg-shaped
body is designed to make use of every square inch to keep
necessities ready at the user’s fingertips but beautifully
concealed until needed. That’s part of the reason for
the name Telios, which is derived from the Greek word for
“perfect.” A covered compartment holds tools,
another houses the filter, and the entire top of the canister
snaps open for easy removal of the disposable two-layer bag.
- quiet motor
- telescoping wand
- full-bag indicator
- variable motor speed control to adjust for light to heavy
tasks
- variable suction control on the handle so the user can
adjust suction for delicate fabrics and upholstery
- retractable cord to eliminate the drudgery of re-winding
- swivel hose so the user can clean in a wide radius around
the canister without moving it
- Seven layers of filtration
The Hoover Telios compact canister vacuum cleaner (S3332)
has two ways to tackle above-the-floor cleaning. When the
Hoover vacs telescoping wand is disconnected at the nozzle,
the machine can reach high ceilings — great for eliminating
cobwebs from corners. When its “gas pump” hand
grip is disconnected from the wand and a tool is attached,
the machine takes on the function of a hand-held cleaner.
