BISSELL Homecare Inc.'s OxyKIC, a dual-chamber spot and
stain remover has been earning industry accolades for both
performance and packaging, in its rookie year.
Since kicking off the year on the front cover of Spray Technology & Marketing,
it was also named one of the "Best New Products for 2004" by
the same publication and featured as the key product presentation
at the Consumer Specialty Products Association's (CSPA) Mid-Year
Meeting. Most recently, OxyKIC swept the prestigious 2004
Institute of Packaging Professionals AmeriStar Awards winning "Best
in Show" and "Best in Category."
"The combination of the package design and product performance
continues to cause quite a buzz," said Jim Krzeminski, BISSELL's
executive vice president of product development, sales and
marketing. "This recognition validates our extensive market
research and ongoing product development. We're thrilled
OxyKIC has made such an immediate impact with the industry
and consumers."
The revolutionary, dual-chambered, OxyKIC is the first and
only aerosol oxygen-activated carpet spot and stain remover.
The unique solution is created through two separate formulas,
which together remove both dye-type and oil-based spots and
stains. When the two combine, OxyKIC is powered to permanently
remove tough carpet spots and stains like red wine, cola
and fruit juice.
"Key attributes that set the packaging apart include its
dual chamber design and easy-to-use aerosol spray," said
BISSELL product manager, Rhonda Frisbey. "Consumers get
a powerful carpet spot and stain cleaner that takes little
effort to use."
OxyKIC is available in the household cleaning aisle of mass
retail, grocery and specialty stores nationwide, including
TruServ, Kmart, Linens 'N' Things, Bi-Lo, Spartan Stores,
Harris Teeter, Winn Dixie, Publix and Kohl's. The suggested
retail price for the 14-ounce bottle is $4.99.
