Scooba floor washing robot cleaning system - no mop necessary!

The Scooba floor washing robot is the all in one floor cleaner, it does it all for you. You will "never have to touch a mop again" according to IRobot. This machine is designed only for hard surfaces such as linoleum, hardwood and ceramic tiles. By the way this is the worlds first robotic floor washing machine. It can perform a long list of duties such as preparing your floor for washing, then scrubbing the dirt out, and last it dries your floor!

how do you get it up & running?

Don't worry it's easy!! Fill the "Clean" tank with Scooba's Clorox cleaning solution and water together. The hit the power button, and then the clean button and it's off and running. How long does it take Scooba to clean a medium sized room? It takes about 45 minutes to clean and dry the entire room. You can watch your favorite TV show, while Scooba does the work for you!

4 steps to a clean floor

  1. it sucks up the dirt
  2. then it sprays on the cleaning solution
  3. the third step it does is scrubs with a spinning brush
  4. lastly it vacuums and squeegees up all moisture and dirt into a separate tank — leaving hard floors squeaky clean and bone dry!

features

  • rechargeable nickel-metal hydride battery
  • power supply
  • a fully recharged battery can last 80 minutes
  • 1 virtual wall (requires 2 D batteries, not included)
  • 8-oz. bottle Clorox Scooba cleaning solution
  • The Irobot 5900 only weighs 9 pounds.

I checked out consumer reviews at Epinions and people seem to love these little robots. Consumers called it "effortless floor maintenance". Every review I read stated that is does a great job of making dirty floors shine again. The drawback apparently is the price tag, it will run you about, $400. It's not cheap, but it might be worth it if you really hate mopping your floors.
