If you suffer from allergies you might want to
look at your carpets as the source of the problem. If you
find out it is your carpets then I suggest using a hepa
vacuum cleaner to get rid of all those dust mites and
other harmful particles. One model that we reviewed
is the Aerus Electrolux Guardian canister vacuum.
The Guardian vac is designed to rid your house of all those
dangerous microscopic dust
mites, as well as pollen and dander. These dust particles
are invisible, measuring as small as 0.3 microns. The true
HEPA filtration system offers 99.97% efficiency in cleaning
particles 0.3 microns and larger.
- power nozzle
automatically adjusts to different heights, from carpets
to bare floors
- A 28-foot
(8.5 m) cord with an automatic winder to make life as easy
as possible for you
- you receive the following vacuum cleaner acessories,
such as dusting tool, upholstery tool, crevice tool and
a small power nozzle, that is designed to clean stairs,
beds and upholstery
- Electrolux offers a 25-year limited warranty
Guardian
- weighs 15 lbs
By the way this isn't a cheap
vacuum, at
$1,799.99 on Amazon you might want to consider cheaper canister
vacuum cleaners.

vacs
I was reading some online review of the Aerus
Guardian vacuum, people seem to like the product, however the
price tag is what scares people at over $1,000. One person
recommended checking out Hoover or Kenmore
vacuums as a cheaper
alternative to the Guardian canister vacuum cleaner. Apparently
they are much more efficient than the Electrolux. Also something
note the Consumer Reports did a review in their Sept
2005 issue and they don't give the Guardian vacuum a great
rating except for the low noise level.
* Over at Amazon this vacuum got a 3 out
of 5 stars.
