One consumer at epinions gives the Bissell vacuum a 5
out of 5 stars, he writes - "I felt compelled to write
a review of the Bissell 7950 ProHeat Self Propelled Steam
Cleaner after using it for the first time. If you have
pets, then a steam cleaner is a must-have.
If you're in the market for a steam cleaner, this is one
you should seriously consider. I also looked at the Hoover
Widepath 7930-900, which has gotten some good reviews on
this site.
The Hoover Widepath also has heated cleaning and they both
have a number of onboard tools for upholstery and pre-treating.
The main difference is the Hoover is not self-propelled
and with a tank full of water, it can be quite heavy. In
fact, I tried using the Bissell without the self propelled
option and it was quite heavy, especially if you have a
large area to clean.
