The Electrolux Pronto is basically a 2-in-1 vacuum cleaner
system that can clean everything from, hard floors, carpets
and a powerful hand
held vacuum for hard to reach areas in your home.
How does it clean your home? Pronto vacuum cleaners utilize
a motorized brush roll, as well as a cyclonic dust
cup really do deep cleaning.
Another cool feature to mention in the Pronto (EL1000A2
& EL1000A) stick vacuums is the, built in hand vacuum.
With 1 touch of the button your'e ready to suck all that
dirt and debris.
- 4 filtration levels
- cordless
vacuum cleaner, that uses 9 V DC, there is no cord
required
- 2 speed to control the amount of power your brish rolls
give
- built in
crevice tool
that lenghtnes to clean all those hard to reach areas
in your house or office.
- charging station- when it's time to charge the Pronto
vacuum cleaner this is where it charges up
"We are the family that has never kept a vacuum
running for more than a year. In fact, we have so conclusively
proved that we kill them (long-haired dog, messy humans and
general NOT vacuum-friendly folks) that we now only buy cheap
ones because the expensive ones die as fast and we feel obligated
to pay expensive repair bills on those. So our vacs tend
to be low-end, large and nasty... but they do the job on
the rugs as necessary."
Another consumer writes a review
on Pronto vacuum cleaner and wrtites - "Came
across this little baby at Sears trying to find out how to
spend a $75 gift certificate I got as a prize. Was going
to get a lawn edger. I am SO glad I went with this!
We have a Hoover Wind
Tunnel as our main vacuum. It is an
effective cleaning tool, but a little clunky to pull out
for a quick around the house pick-me-up when guests are coming
or you are pressed for time.... or just too lazy! :) We currently
have hardwood or sub floor over most of our house as we are
under construction. Sheet rock dust is a constant annoyance.

So, anyway, I went home and did a little research on Epinions.
I liked the specs and all of the reviews were very positive.
I decided to go for it. Picked it up, put it together...
very straight forward. Put it in a corner in my kitchen and
let it charge overnight (looks very sleek in the corner...feel
all rich and stuff!). In the morning while making breakfast
I decided to give it a whirl around the kitchen. I could
NOT believe how easy it GLIDED around the floor! The head
pivots so smoothly you use it with almost no effort. It is
very lightweight - maybe 5 pounds. I couldn't stop! I made
my way to the bedroom and could NOT believe that the head
not only pivots, but automatically stays flat when you vacuum
under a bed! Slides right under there without having to hit
a button or turn a lever or pull out attachments!! I'd love
it for that alone!" source epinions
One more consumer
review on this Electrolux states that-
"After my old canister
vacuum died I started researching
to replace it. I knew I wanted a stick vac, and it definately
had to be bagless. When I ran across the Electrolux Pronto
it felt like my dreams had some true. It was everything I
wanted in a vacuum and it was cordless to boot. In general
I'm leary of the whole cordless deal but we bought a cordless
weed whacker over the summer and are thrilled with that so
far so why not give a cordless vacuum a try?" more
The cheapest price that I found for the upright
Pronto vac is $73.00 if you shop online.
Other models from Electrolux that you might
want to review include, EL6988A, EL5010A, EL520A,
Trilobite, Epic 3500, Epic
6500, Oxygen 3, 1900, AEG 6600, Lux 5500 and the Oxygen
Z5540 Pet Lover vac.
