One consumer wrote a review on the Bissell 2600 Sweeper
and writes - "I purchased this Bissell Sweeper, because the
sweeper I had was not picking up very well. I purchased it
in a garage sale 8 years ago for $3.00, and the brushes finally
wore down so badly, it just wasn't doing a good job of cleaning
any more.
So now this New Bissell Sweeper is real quiet, and very light
weight, which makes it easy to handle.
It's made of a durable metal construction. It has 6 brushes,
2 main brushes, and 4 corner brushes, which makes it easy
to clean along the baseboards and furniture.
I love how it cleans both carpets and floor, and will adjust
to any changes in floor surfaces. I like the idea of the
large twin dirt pans, their easy to empty and I don't have
to empty them every time I use the sweeper.

A review of the Bissell 2104 Sweeper is not as favorable
as the 2600, one consumer writes - "While the sweeper is
handy for quick easy messes, it fails when dealing with larger
areas. The brushes tend to become clogged easily, lessening
the overall effectiveness. Trying to clean out the brushes
is time consuming and difficult. The sweeper has trouble
on anything other than our industrial type carpeting, which
is only in one room of our apartment. It is not effective
on the whole floor area, it has difficulty handling corners
and areas near walls.
However, it is cheap and easy to use. The sweeper can fit
into small areas for storage.
* Overall, it is not a product I would recommend to others
and I feel it doesn't fulfil the promises made on the packaging."
